We were saddened to hear of the passing of “60 Minutes” correspondent Morley Safer today at the age of 84. In 1987, Safer drew the short straw and was forced to visit the MAD offices for a feature on the magazine (it’s unclear how he managed to smile while surrounded by editors Nick Meglin and John Ficarra and writer Dick DeBartolo).
