New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is in hot water over last September’s monster traffic jams at the George Washington Bridge — traffic jams caused by lane closures ordered by a top Christie aide to punish a Democratic mayor who refused to back the Gov’s re-election bid. Petty and vindictive, sure — but Christie’s such a skilled politician that, given enough time, he’ll probably turn the exploding scandal into a reason to visit the Garden State.
