Celebrity Snaps: Robert Pattinson on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"

WHAT, MEDIA WORRY? DEPT.

On Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel asked Twilight’s mumbly dreamboat Robert Pattinson about his appearance on the cover of MAD #518 — and they even posed with a copy! You can watch the clip here (at the 2:30 mark) — Pattinson actually compliments cover artist Mark Fredrickson’s caricature, saying it looks like “a better version of me.” Sweet of you to say, Bobby — but, in truth, we would’ve been hard-pressed to come up with a WORSE version of you! Thanks, Jimmy — your complimentary “Celebrity Snap” subscription is in the mail!

The MAD "Twilight" Cover

VIEW TO A SHILL DEPT.

Take a look at our fang-tastic new cover! Access Hollywood debuted it this past Tuesday, and we're pleased to present it here on The Idiotical in all its slightly-higher-resolution glory. As you can tell by Edward and Bella's mopey mugs, we're finally sinking our teeth into The Twilight Saga with a huge parody of all five movies!

This bloody good issue will be on sale everywhere on October 23rd!

MAD EXCLUSIVE: The First Draft of Kristen Stewart’s Apology

THE TWILIGHTER SIDE OF DEPT.

Yesterday, Twilight star and professional pouter Kristen Stewart admitted to a fling with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. Her on- and off-screen beau, Robert Pattinson, was crushed by this news, as was Stewart’s legion of pre-teen fans who finally got a glimpse at a harsh reality of love that vampire books can never fully illustrate. Although Stewart’s final apology has all the eloquence of a Teen Choice Awards acceptance speech, we at MAD realize how much re-writing it takes to get to that perfect final copy. May we present

We've got a "Tuesday Tease" for you: Rick Tulka's fantastic illustration for "Kristen Stewart Celebrity Cause-of-Death
Betting Odds" from our upcoming issue! You can see lots more of Rick's work at his site, ricktulka.com.

Be sure to pick up MAD #514, on sale February 21, to find out the various ways Bella might meet her final fate.
