Villains Month is here, and if you’ve seen our homepage today, you can tell that we’re pretty darn excited about it. Don’t get us wrong, we love our heroes. We want them to win. But the bad guys are just so much fun. You never know what to expect when it comes to our villains, so in a month where the villains have taken over all of our comics…well, the one thing we know we can expect is the unexpected!
Oh, and lots of jokes about “rounding up the villains” here in the Tuesday Roundup. You can expect that as well.
WATER BORED DEPT.
After failing four times in the past, 64-year-old Diana Nyad successfully swam from Cuba to Florida over the weekend. She made the 110-mile journey in just under 53 hours (slightly faster than Amtrak!), and was also the first person to do so without using a shark cage. Clearly, it’s cause for celebration! And for a speech from a water-logged, exhausted senior citizen!
