This week, the eagerly awaited Justice League: War hit stores nationwide. The latest in Warner Bros.’ successful and highly regarded series of animated movies set within the DC Universe, Justice League: War is an adaptation of Justice League: Origin by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee. It’s an appropriate choice for a movie meant to lay the groundwork for a bigger universe of films. After all, Justice League: Origin did much the same thing to all of DC Comics.

“Gothtopia” continues with part 2 of 3, “The Maddening Crowd.” The tables have been turned on Batman as the Scarecrow controls Arkham Asylum and holds the Dark Knight in a padded room. Escape might be possible for Batman if he can gain access to the Scarecrow’s laboratory and crack the code on the Gothtopia Toxin.
This May, Vertigo's ASTRO CITY gets it’s first-ever guest artist! While other artists contributed to the Visitor's Guide, this is the first time that another artist takes the reins for an entire issue since the series began. That artist is the acclaimed Graham Nolan (BATMAN, TALON).
