BERG'S EYE VIEW TO A SHILL DEPT.

The Idiotical's Dave Berg celebration continues! MAD’s Greatest Artists: Dave Berg is on sale now, and throughout the rest of the year we'll be highlighting some special features from inside the book. Today we're featuring one of Dave's early articles for MAD, published in MAD #40, July 1958 — a full three years before his famous "The Lighter Side of..." series debuted. Like many MAD artists, Dave was an established cartoonist before joining The Usual Gang of Idiots — he and Al Jaffee even worked side by side in Will Eisner's studio as fresh-faces young whippersnappers.

Without further ado, here's Dave's take on that eternal staple of New York City cuisine, the "Pizza Pie"!
